As in previous years, the Vertigo dance company will be offering an alternative way to celebrate the festival of Shavuot. On June 7th and 8th, participants will be able to take part in a wide range of activities, including yoga, nature hiking, contact-improvisation, Tai Chi, and Vertigo’s unique interpretation of Tikkun Leil Shavuot during the night.
On June 9th, Vertigo’s “Birth of the Phoenix” dance project will be performed outdoors. “Birth of the Phoenix” explores the ongoing dialogue between mankind and God. It will be performed in a geodesic dome made of bamboo, giving the audience the chance to experience a more ancient form of theatre, and get up close and personal with nature.
A two day overnight stay with meals is 390 NIS/240 NIS children ages 4 – 12. Tickets for The Birth of the Phoenix are 50 NIS/35NIS for children. For reservations call: 02-9900235. Additional information on the Vertigo Dance Company site.
