Eran Tzur – Solar Performance at Tmuna Closes EcoCinema Festival

Eran Tzur in the first solar performance in Israel – the closing event of the 2010 EcoCinema Environmental Film Festival, tomorrow night, November 30, 2010, at Tmuna Theatre in Tel Aviv. Tmuna Theatre, always open to the new and experimental, will set up solar panels on the theatre balcony, the collected solar energy will power the sound and lighting systems for the performance.

Musician Eran Tzur is bringing the full volume of his band for this performance – Ram Orion on guitar, Ohad Ben Ari on piano and Shay Baruch on drums. The concert will include songs from Tzur’s latest album “Kol Ma SheEnoshi” (Hebrew: All that is Human) and favorites such as “Tmuna Impressionistit” (Impressionist Picture), “BeLeylot Shel Yareach Maleh” (On Nights with a Full Moon), “Parparei Ta’atua” (Delusion Butterflies) and more.

EcoCinema brings this concert to the public to show that it is possible to enjoy music, film and other cultural events without destroying our environment or depleting energy sources. We can influence the impact we make on the environment and the legacy we leave for future generations. It is still possible to change things for the better, and it is up to us to choose.
