YES – Bob Dylan will be performing in Israel on June 20, 2011 at the Ramat Gan Stadium.
Musician, man, myth – Dylan is a mysterious thread weaving through the fabric of our times, his words, music and legend woven into the texture of our collective consciousness. His influence is pervasive, perverse, subterranean, seductive.
Like a Rolling Stone, Blowin’ in the Wind, Tangled Up in Blue…from Mr. Tambourine Man to Not Dark Yet, poet, prophet & popular icon – Dylan is anything but predictable.
But the news is that an agreement was signed this morning between Dylan’s manager and the International Producer Marcel Avraham and his Israeli representative, Adv. Haggai Stravis. Seating will be similar to the arrangements for Leonard Cohen and Elton John’s concerts, which were also held at the Ramat Gan Stadium. The Israeli producer for the concert is Gad Oron.
