A Momentary Lapse of Reason, a solo photography exhibition by Maya Hed, will open at the Hava Rosenberg Gallery in Kfar-Shmaryahu on May 19, 2011. Hed follows jazz musicians – Stefano Bollani, Nicola Stilo, and Chet Baker among others – onstage and off, offering her perspective on this world in vivid colors. The photographs take the viewer not only into the clubs and opera houses, but behind the scenes to intimate, unobserved moments – like sound checks.
Opening night events include a jazz performance by Mel Rosenberg, and will begin at 19:30 on May 19th. There will be a gallery talk on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 18:30. The exhibit will remain open through June 19, 2011.
