There was a lovely crowd and atmosphere at the Avram Café in Jerusalem last night, where poet Dorit Weisman and painter Oded Zaidel launched their self-published book “On the Path between the Sea Weeds,” a journey of words and colors through Sinai.
Various poets, including those of the Ktovet poetry group (of which Dorit is a member,) discussed the book and its multifaceted artistic and social attributes, read excerpts, and shared some of their own poetry as well.
Musical entertainment was provided by the talented Yasmin Even, who managed to intrigue and harness the essence of the evening – the coming together of words and brushstrokes.
