Take a dip in the ocean at Beit Ha’ir this coming Friday, August 12, 2011 – and bring the children! Summer fun continues with eco-friendly activities for the whole family at Beit Ha’ir. Entrance is 10NIS and the program includes:
11:00 – Oceans (2009), directed by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, documents the world’s oceans with impressive visuals. Tsur Mishal of Eco Cinema will host the screening. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
12:30 – Creative workshops.
Textile Renewal – bring your shirts, fabric handbags, sheets and even socks. Hila Harel and Adrian Berkovitch will teach a simple technique to make them shine once more.
City in Green –Build the eco-friendly city of your dreams.
13:30 – Rapper Lukach with guests Saba Coco and DJ Ori Shohat
