OutNow recordings is a new free jazz and avant-garde label created by Ido Bukelman, Yoni Kretzmer, and Yair Yona “based on serious consideration of the essence of jazz.” The label aspires to present eclectic explorations from artists open to experimentation and risk. Musicians affiliated with the label include: Albert Beger, Ofer Bymel, Roy Cambell, Daniel Davidovsky, Ehran Elisha, Haim Elisha, and Harold Rubin.
OutNow will celebrate their launch party this Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Levontin 7 in Tel Aviv at 20:00. Performing: Ido Bukelman in an acoustic guitar solo; Harold Rubin on clarinet with Ehran Elisha on drums and Haim Elisha on piano; Yoni Kretzmer on sax with his quartet – Yoav Zohar – drums, Shai Ran – bass, Nitay Levi – bass clarinet.
