Documentary filmmakers, looking forward to CoPro 14, the Israel Documentary Screen Market, which will take place from May 29 to June 3, 2012, here are some important dates:
Tuesday, January 24, 2012 is the deadline for applications to the CoPro pitching session. There will be two days of pitching sessions on May 30 & 31, 2012. Filmmakers who are accepted will participate in two preparatory workshops on March 18th and March 20th, and sessions to take place in April – May at a date yet to be determined. CoPro sends an annual delegation of producers to HotDocs Fourm and Market in Canada. As part of CoPro’s collaboration with HotDocs Forum and Market, a delegation of Israeli producers will be selected to participate there. Five producers will be chosen by HotDocs from among the applicants to CoPro’s pitching sessions and HotDocs pitching; they will receive assistance in travel expenses to Toronto.
