Let’s party like it’s 1979! Indie-Yeled at Tmuna Theatre pays tribute to the Children’s Song Festival, a Hannukah tradition of the 70s and 80s in Israel. Children and pop stars would take the stage to present a harvest of children’s songs, many becoming part of the collective cultural consciousness…in other words, if you belong to the right age group, these songs are stuck inside your head.
Well Yehu Yaron, Yael Deckelbaum, Hadara Levin Areddy, Batsir 76, Adam Ben Ezra, Matityahu Band, Savannah, Alteneuland and Haran Yaffe will shake it up and blow your mind with alternative versions to these mainstream standards.
