Come see art in action! French Artist Jean-Michel Alberola will begin creating a site-specific exhibition on the walls of the Bubble – the gallery at the French Institute in Tel Aviv, 7 Rothschild Boulevard, at 19:00. Once painted, the exhibition will up through March, and then the walls will be covered with a new coat of paint, and the painting will disappear.
Daniel Templon, of the Templon Gallery in Paris will be present at tonight’s launching. Alberola has created two such painting installations on the walls of the Templon Gallery. Alberola’s work has been exhibited in several venues, including the French National Library (2009), Hermes House in Tokyo (2009), and the Louvre (2005), among many others.
