Barak Marshall’s Monger, a production of the Suzanne Dellal Centre, will have a festive performance on Thursday, February 2, 2012, celebrating the 70th performance of the work.
Monger premiered in 2008 as part of the Tel Aviv Dance festival at Suzanne Dellal, and has since been performed on stages worldwide. Marshall’s fast-paced, sensual hybrid of Polish-Yemenite body language tells a tale of the downstairs life, servants in a household with their troubles, jokes, and loves with deliciously retro costumes designed by Maor Zabar, a wonderful cast of dancers – Ilana Belhasen, Yoav Grinberg, Gavriel Spitzer, Inbar Nemirovsky, Liron Ozeri, Shani Tamari, Inbal Shahar, Shiran Sharabi, Harel Kay and Idan Porges, and music that will make you want to get up and dance.
Monger will be performed Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 21:00, Suzanne Dellal Center. Tickets may be ordered online or call: 03-5105656.
