[Press Release] Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI) and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design will meet in Jerusalem next week for a week-long seminar on urban design and creating new ideas to improve the design of new and old cities.

An open day for the public will take place on Tuesday January 31 from 9:30 to 19:00 at the Graduate School, Urban Design Program, Bezalel Gallery, Yaffo 23/Jerusalem.

Representatives from both Bezalel Academy and MARCHI will speak on a variety of urban design and architecture-related subjects including: “The Cross-Cultural City”; “Russian Palestine – Monuments of Russian Architecture in Jerusalem”; “Russian Influence on Israeli Modern Space”; and a keynote lecture on “Russian Architecture Between East and West”; among others.
