Albert Beger will be launching his new album “There’s Nothing Better To Do” on OutNow Recordings – Monday, April 2, 2012 at 20:00 at Levontin 7. The album documents a one-time performance: Albert Beger and drummer-percussionist Gerry Hemingway.
Albert Beger plays with an intensity that has to be experienced, the connection he creates with his musical partners onstage is spiritual, playful and ever-changing. Albert will host three drummers at the launch for three duets: Hagi Fershtman, Danny Benedict and Yoav Zohar.
OutNow recordings is a new free jazz and avant-garde label created by Ido Bukelman, Yoni Kretzmer, and Yair Yona “based on serious consideration of the essence of jazz.”
