“The Art of Design” a retrospective exhibition of painter and graphic designer Dan Reisinger’s work will be shown at the Beit Meirov Gallery in the context of Design Week Holon.
Reisinger’s designs include logos, for major companies and institutions such as Teva, El Al, Iscar, Tambour, and Habima National Theatre. Many of these designs have become culturally significant, acquiring a symbolic status, as part of the Israeli visual identity.
In addition to the gallery exhibition, 70 Reisinger posters will be displayed along Dov Hoz Boulevard, Holon. Meanwhile, in Paris, 35 of Reisinger’s works have been selected by Mr. Aurelien Lemonier, curator of the Department of Architecture & Design for the permanent collection of the Pompidou Centre. Eight works are currently on show in the “Color in Architecture” gallery, additional works will be on exhibit in May.
