The 14th Piano Festival will take place from November 7 – 11, 2012 at the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv. Festival highlights include:

Ilan Virtzberg/Photo: Ayelet Dekel

A tribute performance celebrating 30 years to the album “Batzir Tov” (A Good Vintage), with lyrics by poet Yona Wallach and  music composed by Ilan Virtzberg and Shimon Gelbetz. Virtzberg will perform at the festival with guest musicians Eran Tzur, Daniel Salomon, Dana Adini and Yirmi Kaplan.

Yonatan Geffen with Vered Piker and Sivan Talmor will host Dani Litani in an evening of song and satire.

Acollective will perform at the festival for the first time, expanding the definition of “piano” with a diverse array of keyboards and an unconventional approach that’s sure to be fun.

Yirmi Kaplan will host Mizrahi Music legend Ahuva Ozeri.

Mosh Ben Ari goes flamenco, with guests Ana Sola and Petete Fernandez from Spain.

Ninet will perform songs in Hebrew from her new album alongside songs in English from Sympathetic Nervous System, her album of songs in English recorded with Rockfour. Ninet, Rockfour and Maya Belzitsman will perform acoustic versions of the songs, with Acollective’s Idan Rabinovici and Yossi Mizrahi joining in on the songs from the new album.

Beit Habubot, Dr. Kaspar’s Rabbit Show and the ethereal voiced Rotem Or will all be performing at the festival for the first time, as well as 1:1 hosting Rami Hoyberger.

Danny Sanderson in an acoustic performance, Arkadi Duchin and Yaheli Sobol, Netanela, Matti Caspi, Mika Karni, Yaya Cohen Aharonov hosting Dana Berger, Shlomo Gronich and RED BAND – all these and more!
