Human Rights March – Tel Aviv 2012

Human Rights will be celebrated on Friday, December 7, 2012 with a march organized by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI). Gathering at Habima Square 10:30, all are invited to join and march in support of any cause, to Rabin Square. Information in English on the march may be found on the website and facebook event page.

A Human Rights Concert will take place in Rabin Square at 12:30. Author Sami Michael, President of the ACRI will open the concert, and the musicians will perform songs chosen especially for the event, both originals and covers of landmark songs from Joe Amar’s Lishkat HaAvoda (the employment bureau) to John Lennon’s Imagine: Shlomi Sarenga;  Boom Pam; HaFaculta – The Faculty of Mizrahi Music; Neta Elkayam; Noam Rotem; Ester Rada; Bilaka; and Miriam Toucan.

Avihu Medina’s song “To Be A Man” was chosen as the official song of the Human Rights Concert, enjoy the clip, sung by Neta Elakayam here:

The concert is produced by Laissez Passez, under the artistic direction of Ophir Toubul, the poster designed by Eitam Toubul.
