Come out and celebrate the premiere of Michael Mayer’s Out in the Dark on January 30, 2013 – you are all invited! The award winning film is opening its glamorous Israeli premiere to the public – all at the cost of a movie ticket!
Out in the Dark won Best Feature (along with Fill the Void) at the Haifa International Film Festival 2012. Nicolas Jacob and Michael Aloni star as Nimer, a Palestinian graduate student and Roy, an Israeli lawyer, trying to live and love amidst the conflict and prejudices beyond their control.
Opening night fun starts at 22:00 with a reception at Lev Theatre (Dizengof Center), followed by a screening of the film at 22:20. Then party on at the Bootleg, adjacent to the cinema, starting at five minutes to midnight, with Drag Queen Tallulah Bonet performing at 1:00 and The Aprons (their song Everything was chosen as the theme for the trailer) at 1:30.
