The Israeli Opera will perform free concerts in Eilat on December 9 and Ilavon on December 13. Five soloists, accompanied by Eytan Shmeisser on piano and Michael Eisenstadt will perform a program of beloved arias from popular operas as well as songs from musicals.
Among the operas to be featured are: Carmen, La Traviata, Tosca, La Forza del Destino, The Magic Flute, and La Boheme. Songs from My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera, and West Side Story will be included in the program. The concerts are intended to be enjoyed both by devoted opera fans and those who are less familiar with the works.
The Ahi Ezer Foundation is dedicated to promoting the Israeli Opera’s presence within the community and to bring concerts and other opera related events to people residing in all regions of Israel, who otherwise might not have the opportunity to enjoy opera.
