Serendipity is the kind of word that always makes me smile twice: once when it happens, and then again, just because it’s such a fun word to say. I’ve been sitting here making my Hannukah list of recommendations, and when I looked over the list I realized that it has a very multicultural feel to it. That’s not something I planned when beginning this list, I just looked over the many, many (many!) emails in my in-box describing Hannukah events, and took note of the ones that caught my eye. So here it is, my Hannukah list, with its serendipitous theme of diversity, tolerance, open minds and hearts. Read my recommendations here – enjoy!
In this spirit of open-minded adventures, I will be dedicating some time during this week to researching vegan levivot (aka latkes) and sufganiyot. If anything tasty comes out of this investigation I’ll let you all know.
