This Sunday at the Open University in Ra’anana, soprano Revital Raviv will perform her Homage to Joan Baez program.
The Homage to Joan is a labor of love, created by musicians of various genres to celebrate the music of the 1960s.

Revital Raviv is a household name in the Israeli classical music scene. Known particularly for her world-class interpretations of baroque works, she’s a regular at the Abu Gosh Festival and has sung with the Israeli Opera. In her Homage to Joan, she steps away from Handel and Monteverdi to reconnect, on a personal and professional level, with her family’s musical roots – the music her mother brought with her after making Aliyah from New York.
Raviv will be accompanied by two talented colleagues, Eyal Leber on guitar and Shaul Gros on guitar and mandolin.
The concert will take place on Sunday, May 10 at 13:30. Tickets cost only 30 NIS and can be ordered by phone at *3337 (03-5114412) or online at http://www.openu.ac.il/noonconcert8.
