I’m excited: Bon Jovi will be performing in Israel on October 3, 2015! Tickets go on sale in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5… at 18:00 local time, and can be purchased via this link: http://www.leaan.co.il or call *8780. The concert will take place in Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv, brought to us all courtesy of BlueStone Group (who brought Lady Gaga, Rhianna, and One Direction to Israel) and Marcel Avram (most recently Robbie Williams, as well as Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Elton John).
It’s going to be a full-out rock concert, expected to be about two and a half to three hours long, the kind of concert fans dream about, with all Bon Jovi’s hits. Looking at a band whose career spans 30 years and 12 studio albums – that’s quite a repertoire to choose from! I can pretty much guarantee that they will be playing my favorite.
This will be Bon Jovi’s first time performing in Israel, coming at the close of a large scale Asian tour. Good news not only for Israelis, but fans in Europe (just a short flight away), where Bon Jovi has not performed for a couple of years.
Here’s what I’m wondering: who will open for Bon Jovi? When asked at the press meeting, Shay Mor Yosef and Guy Beser (owners of BlueStone Group) and Marcel Avram of United Promoters all indicated that they were open to suggestions. So, all you amazing Israeli musicians out there – come on! Who wants to open for Bon Jovi?
Tickets for the concert will range from 350 NIS (on the grass), to 950 NIS (Golden Circle), with VIP tickets on sale for 1,100.
