From Jaffa to Agripas 2015 – dance in the Machane Yehuda Market, Jerusalem is an initiative of c.a.t.a.m.o.n. Dance Group, under the artistic direction of Elad Schechter, in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality.
Bringing dance into the bars of the market, and therefore to a wider audience, the events will take place on two Sundays: October 11th and October 18th, 2015, from 19:30 – 23:00. Visitors are invited to barhop through the market and feast their eyes. Admission is free.
Sunday, October 11th: Dafi Altabeb will present her work at “Hashchena” bar; Sharon Vazana at “Tahrir”; Yaron Shamir at “HaTipa”; and a video dance jointly created by Elad Schechter, Ran Raviv and Or Tsarfati will be shown at “Shem Tov.”
Sunday, October 18th: Osnat Kelner will present her work at “Dawini”; Maya Yogel at “Tahrir”; Akoma Neve at “Shem Tov”; and a video dance created especially for this event by Sofia Krantz and Idan Harosen will be shown at “Arbas.”
