The Moran Choirs will host their annual benefit concert, in the theme of “Moran and Friends” on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The annual event celebrates the Moran Choir’s connection and commitment to the community, nurturing excellence in music. The Little Ones Choir, Youth Choir, Moran Choir and the Moran Singers Ensemble, combine their musical pursuits with community outreach and activities.
All four Moran Choirs will participate in the festive evening, as well as special guests.
Miki Gavrielov will perform two songs with the children from the Dana-Dwek Children’s Hospital. Rudi Bainesay (Jade System & winner of The Voice) will perform with a group of youth from the Tokayer School, and an ensemble of girls whom the Moran Choir have taken under their wing. Dancer/choreographer/singer Sahar Azimi will create several short pieces for this evening, and in the future will be working on a full evening program with Moran. Yaron Gottfried – conductor, composer, pianist – will perform with a jazz trio and the Moran Singers Ensemble in selections from their program “Between Worlds – When Classical Music Meets Jazz.”
Tickets are 500/300 NIS. All proceeds from this evening will be dedicated to the musical and community activity of the Moran Choirs.
