Ever feel like you’re exploding with creativity? Center Stage Theatre’s “Spontaneous Combustion Round II” gives writers and actors a chance to write, rehearse, tech & perform 4 – 8 minute plays – in just 48 hours! The timid and sedentary are invited to see the results onstage on February 17 & 18 at 20:00.
The bold and inventive will meet on Monday, February 15th at 18:00 at Center Stage Theatre (7a Dor ve Dorshav St, Jerusalem). Working in groups, each group will receive a first line for the play, and the name of a famous personality, which must be mentioned in the play. The next 48 hours will be devoted to writing, rehearsing, tech and performance. The set includes chairs, a café table and small bench. All other props must be scavenged by each group individually.
In order to participate as an actor or writer, please register by Friday, February 12th. Rehearsals: Tuesday, February 16th, 11:00 – 22:00; Tech: Wednesday, February 17th, 12:00 – 18:00.
