Tel Aviv Blues Festival #4: Deep Down South & Hazelnuts

4 days, 40 shows and 20 venues – The Tel Aviv Blues Festival #4 Winter Edition was an amazing experience, with music everywhere! Huge thanks to Yamit Hagar, whose love for the blues, creative spirit, initiative, energy and superlative organizational wizardry makes it all happen, time and time again! So many great musicians participating, so many shows, that there was no way to hear it all… In addition to the wonderful shows I heard (Alvin Youngblood Hart – review) there are so many that I missed. Happily, MuperPHOTO was there to capture the mood and magic of these two very different shows: Deep Down South at Mike’s Place, and The Hazelnuts at Bascula – Enjoy!
