Musrara Mix, the international multidisciplinary arts festival will take place from Tuesday, June 6 – Thursday, June 8, 2017. Presented by The Naggar Multidisciplinary School of Art and Society, events will take place from 19:00 – 23:00 each evening, free and open to the public! Featuring art exhibits, installations, performance art and music shows, one of the unique aspects of this festival is the collaboration between the college and its environs, with events taking place throughout the neighborhood. The theme for this year is Terra Incognita, with international artists from India, Cameroon, China, Germany, Poland, Japan, USA, Turkey, Russian, England, France, and Kenya, participating alongside Israeli artists and Musrara students.
The Musrara Mix website has a full description of the many exhibits, workshops, and music shows, as well as the daily schedule in English.
Opening night will feature Tigris, mysterious, complex, and energetic ensemble infused with African influences from East and West, hosting Liraz Cherchi. More music excitement to come on Thursday, when Crunch 22 host Shai Tsabari.
Enjoy!
