French jazz guitarist Sylvain Luc will be performing in Israel for the first time with three performances at The Zone (Harechev 13)! Luc’s many musical collaborations include: Wynton Marsalis, Steve Gadd, Elvin Jones, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Manu Katché, Al DiMeola, Didier Lockwood, John Mc Laughlin, Billy Cobham, Richard Bona, Steve Lukatherת Victor Bailey, Tommy Emmanuel, Al Jarreau… In 1999 he founded Trio Sud with André Ceccarelli and Jean-Marc Jafet. The ensemble has recorded several albums together, and received the “French Music Award for Jazz” as best group of the year in 2003. He is also well known for his two duet albums with Biréli Lagrène.
