The Vertigo Dance Company International Dance Program, together with the Rimon School of Music and the Revolution Orchestra will present Harvest 2023 – an evening of premiere performances – new, original works in music and dance. The performance will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Zucker Hall at the Tel Aviv Culture Center (Heichal HaTarbut).
Harvest 2023, under the artistic direction of Zohar Sharon and Roy Oppenheim, will present new compositions for orchestra and electronica by six students from the Composition for the Film Arts and Stage of the Rimon School. The choreographers Keren Bigon-Horesh, Yankalle Filtser, Annabelle Dvir, Yohay Ginton and Jeremy Alberge have created dance pieces set to this music, and the music will be performed by the Revolution Orchestra. Dancers of the Vertigo International Dance Program, under the artistic direction of Keren Bigon-Horesh, will perform in these works, as well as select scenes from the Vertigo Dance Company repertoire, with the musicians of the Revolution Orchestra providing live accompaniment. Some of these select passages from the Vertigo dance repertoire will be performed to new original soundtracks composed by the Rimon students, and some will be performed to new orchestral arrangements to the original music composed by Ran Bagno.
There will be two performances on Thursday, June 22, 2023. One at 19:00, and another at 21:30, at Zucker Hall, Tel Aviv Culture Center. Tickets may be ordered online from the Vertigo Dance Company website.
