Dreaming of a unique costume for Purim? The Israeli Opera is opening its store of spectacular costumes from past productions for a one-day sale on Wednesday, February 19th from 12:30 – 18:00 at the Israeli Opera, 19 Shaul Hamelech Blvd., Tel Aviv.
The costumes are for sale at special prices, starting at 50 NIS. From past experience, I can tell you that the line will be long – but for your pleasure, opera singers will be popping up to sing arias and duets from the most beloved operas. My best recommendation: get there very, very, early. Officially the sale will open at 12:30, and will continue until 18:00, or until they are sold out. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Hostages and Missing Families Forum.
