Coming soon to an apartment, sidewalk, empty lot or school near you: Talooy BaMakom – a unique performing arts festival taking place for the first time in Tel Aviv from October 14 – 16, 2010. Transforming the city of Tel Aviv into an alternative performing arts venue, with theatre, dance and music performances taking place in unconventional spaces, Talooy BaMakom (roughly translates as “depending on the place”) is the initiative of Nataly Zukerman and Lechay Bekerman, joint artistic directors of the festival.
The full program is available online: www.TALOOY-BaMAKOM.com. Although the site is in Hebrew, the map with numbers will be useful for adventurous navigators of this unusual festival.
