No more excuses – Helit Yeshurun has completed her translation of Marcel Proust’s In Search of Lost Time (À la recherche du temps perdu 1913 – 1927). The final volume, Le temps retrouvé (1927), published by “HaSifriya HaHadashah” (Hebrew: New Library) is now available in Hebrew – so readers of Hebrew can book a table at their favorite café for the next couple of months, and finally finish reading Proust (only to discover, of course, that one never finishes reading Proust).
But before you all sit down to read, the Meditech in Holon will celebrate the book’s launch with “Everything About Time”: a two day event with performances and discussions on the theme of Proust, Thursday, December 23 & Friday, December 24, 2010.
