Walking into Beit Ha’ir – the old Town Hall of Tel Aviv, located in historic Bialik Square – has become a mind-expanding experience after its transformation in the hands of designer Dan Reisinger and Picnic Magazine – Adi Englman, Meir Kordevani, Toony Navok. An exhibit of posters culled from the past four volumes of Picnic, along with images from the latest volume #5, launched last night at the exhibit opening, extends throughout two floors of the recently renovated building. Reisinger’s bold, colorful design merges with the posters and the soundtrack by Dor Zippori to create one of the grooviest environments I have seen – a wonderful after-life for a former municipal building.

  1. Dear Picnic & Beit Ha’ir & everyone else responsible,
The exhibit looks AMAZING and in such a fabulous building. You did a wonderful job installing my Lipstick photographs along with all of the other artworks. I am seriously considering coming to “the land of milk and honey” to view the show. Thank you for the inspiration. Stacy Greene
